Speculation surrounding Nana and Chae Jong Seok’s relationship is gaining momentum, sparked by their steamy on-screen chemistry and rumored Lovestagram posts.
The two starred as leads in Baek Ji Young’s “Indeed, It Was Love” music video from her latest mini album Ordinary Grace, portraying a couple in love with deeply emotional and intimate scenes. Adding fuel to the rumors, Baek Ji Young revealed in an interview that Nana had personally recommended Chae Jong Seok for the role, prompting questions about whether the two were already romantically involved before filming.
Rumors of their romance began when fans noticed similarities in their Instagram posts, including photos taken at the same locations, in the same angle. Adding to the speculation, a media outlet recently reported that the pair vacationed together in Bali, Indonesia, this past June.
Despite growing interest, both Nana and Chae Jong Seok’s agencies have maintained a neutral stance. Chae’s agency, Esteem Entertainment, stated, “We cannot confirm anything regarding our model’s private life and ask for your understanding.” Similarly, Sublime, Nana’s agency, echoed, “This is a personal matter, so we are unable to comment.”
Baek Ji Young, reflecting on the duo’s music video performances, once shared, “I didn’t realize there were so many kiss scenes. I even joked on Instagram that it was like a ‘100-kiss version.’ Their chemistry was so good that the director kept shooting, and it became the teaser.”
Chae Jong Seok, a model six years younger than Nana, was previously rumored to be dating Han So Hee last year, though Han So Hee’s agency firmly denied the claims, calling them “groundless.”
