‘Lovers’ Drops Melancholic Teaser of Namgoong Min & Ahn Eun Jin
On July 14, a new teaser for Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin’s “Lovers” was released much to fans’ delight.

The two actors, who work together for the first time, depict the melancholic yet unforgettable romance between two souls who find each other amidst a catastrophic invasion.
“Lovers” follows a star-crossed lovers’ twisted fate in the Joseon era. Namgoong Min plays Lee Jang Hyun, a stoic nobleman who doesn’t believe in love while Ahn Eun Jin portrays Yoo Gil Chae, a lady who has a deep regard for love despite her two failed marriages.

MBC released a set of new photo stills which capture Lee Jang Hyun and Yoo Gil Chae’s dilemma. In one photo, the two stand beside each other as snow falls freely at a distance.
Despite the lack of touch, the couple exudes a melancholia that permeates through the thick air. Their eyes look sorrowful, hinting at the gut-wrenching love story that will unfold this summer.
