Two teaser trailers have been released for the 8-episode drama Love in the Big City, which will premiere on TVING on October 21st.

The teasers for Love in the Big City begin with the line, “I thought believing in eternal love in this world was foolish,” boldly revealing Go Young’s identity. The teasers also heightens fans’ anticipation by featuring famous quotes from the original work.

Nam Yoon Su, who has broadened his acting spectrum through various roles in dramas such as Extracurricular, The King’s Affection and Today’s Webtoon, plays the role of Go Young, a character who believes that love is the most important thing in life. The drama will fully capture the chronicle of Go Young’s love life from his college days to his thirties.

Joining the cast are Kwon Hyuk from Super Rookie, Na Hyun Woo, the winner of tvN’s Double Casting, and rising star Jin Ho Eun, known for his roles in All of Us Are Dead and Recipe for Farewell. These actors will portray the people who shape Go Young’s love story. Notably, top model Kim Won Joong will make his acting debut as Habibi, a mysterious Japanese character.

In addition, Lee Soo Kyung, who won the Baeksang Arts Award and the Buil Film Award for her role in the movie Miracle: Letters to the President, will play Go Young’s best friend Mi Ae. Veteran actress Oh Hyun Kyung will portray Go Young’s mother, Eunsook, adding depth to the story.

The drama Love in the Big City is penned by writer Park Sang Young and is helmed by Son Tae Gyeom, director of Will You Be There?, along with Marriage Blue director Hong Ji Young, and The Apartment with Two Women director Kim Se In.

Laws of Love in the City will air on TVING starting October 21st with two episodes released each week.
