MBC’s upcoming drama “Motel California” (literal title) has unveiled a glimpse of Na In Woo’s character!
“Motel California” is a romance drama written by Lee Seo Yoon and directed by Jang Joon Ho and Kim Hyung Min. It is based on Shim Yoon Seo’s 2019 novel “Home, Bitter Home” (literal title). The story follows a woman who grows up in a rural motel called Motel California. After escaping her hometown, she returns 12 years later to reconnect with her first love and face new challenges.
Na In Woo stars as Cheon Yeon Soo, the most eligible bachelor in the rural village of Hana-eup. A handsome veterinarian, he’s known for his rugged charm, taming unruly bulls with ease, and his unique ability to connect with both people and animals.
Cheon Yeon Soo is also a hopeless romantic, committed to loving only one woman for life. However, his peaceful world is shaken when his first love, Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young), returns to their hometown after 12 years. Having left for Seoul with little thought for those she left behind, her unexpected return throws Cheon Yeon Soo’s life into turmoil.
In the newly released stills, Na In Woo fully embodies the role of the gentle veterinarian in a serene rural setting. Clad in a medical gown, his warm, approachable demeanor instantly lights up the screen. His puppy-like eyes, which contrast with his strong and reliable presence, draw attention and have fans eagerly anticipating the healing energy he will bring to the drama.
All eyes are on Na In Woo and how he will portray a charming veterinarian. Fans are also eager to see the chemistry between him and Lee Se Young, who plays his bold first love that turns his world upside down.
