Rapper Jimmy Paige (Park Sung Jin) has sparked controversy with his latest single Yellow Niki Lauda, with fans speculating the track contains pointed lyrics aimed at Jung Woo Sung.
The track, released on December 31st, includes provocative lyrics that many believe reference Jung: “Spitting my baby on your face while furious. I’ll never show mercy. You go embrace refugees.” The lines have set social media ablaze, with users commenting, “‘Embrace refugees’ reminds me of someone” and “Is this a Jung Woo Sung diss track?”
The controversy comes on the heels of November’s revelation that Jung is the father of model Moon Gabi’s child. The news was further complicated by reports of Jung’s long-term non-celebrity girlfriend and allegations of him approaching various women through social media DMs. Critics pointed out the perceived contradiction between Jung’s public advocacy for refugee rights and single mother support, and his personal actions. Jung has maintained a low profile since his last public appearance at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards in November.
Jimmy Paige, who debuted as a model in 2010 before joining Just Music as a rapper in April 2017, notably dated Moon Gabi for three years before their split in 2017. The former couple had cultivated a substantial following through their stylish social media presence. Following their breakup, Moon was linked to French model-DJ Willy Monfret.
The rapper-model has recently established The Nice Music Group after concluding his contract with Just Music in 2024.
