Ma Dong Seok, aka Don Lee, has claimed the top spot in actor brand reputation rankings for May 2024, with Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Soo Hyun following in second and third places, respectively.

The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed big data from April 28th, 2024, to May 28th, 2024, covering 100 actors appearing in dramas, movies, and OTT content. The analysis considered consumer brand participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement, amounting to a staggering 247,271,483 data points. This is a 29.43% increase compared to the 191,040,058 data points collected in April.

For May 2024, the top 30 actors in brand reputation are: Ma Dong Seok, Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Soo Hyun, Park Ji Hwan, Kim Ji Won, Kim Hye Yoon, Kim Moo Yeol, Park Sung Hoon, Kang Dong Won, Lee Joo Bin, Son Suk Ku, Song Geon Hee, Chun Woo Hee, Jang Ki Yong, Lee Do Hyun, Go Youn Jung, Kim Go Eun, Lee Je Hoon, Byun Yo Han, Wi Ha Jun, Seo Eun Soo, Lee Joon Hyuk, Lee Dong Hwi, Gong Yoo, Jung Ryeo Won, Lee Joon, Song Joong Ki, Hwang Jung Min, Ryu Jun Yeol, and Shin Hye Sun.

Ma Dong Seok’s brand topped the list with a brand reputation index of 22,328,245. Byeon Woo Seok followed with an index of 14,359,529. Institute director Koo Chang Hwan stated, “Ma Dong Seok, who achieved a triple million with ‘The Roundup’ franchise, has secured the top spot. Byeon Woo Seok, with a hot fandom, ranks second, while Kim Soo Hyun’s popularity remains strong despite his drama having ended, placing him third.”
