In a recent interview held at a cafe, Lim Ji Yeon discussed her latest film Revolver and her ongoing friendships with her co-stars from The Glory, including Song Hye Kyo.

Revolver, directed by Oh Seung Wook, tells the story of Soo Young (Jeon Do Yeon), a former police officer who takes the fall for a crime and goes to prison. After her release, she is driven by a single goal. Lim Ji Yeon plays Jung Yoon Sun, a nightclub madam who is the only person to visit Soo Young after her release.

On the 31st, a VIP screening for Revolver was attended by many stars, including Song Hye Kyo. The actress shared a photo on her Instagram, saying, “Thank you for the invite, Ji Yeon,” highlighting their enduring friendship from The Glory.

Lim Ji Yeon was touched by the gesture, saying, “She even wrote me a handwritten letter because she thought she might miss me at the event. It made me tear up; it was so moving.” She added, “The letter said, ‘I might not get to see you, so I’m leaving you a note. Thank you for inviting me, and I hope you continue to shine.’”

She shared a behind-the-scenes moment, revealing that she waited until the end of the movie to see Song Hye Kyo. “The ‘The Glory’ family all came to support me and said they enjoyed the film,” she said, expressing her affection for her co-stars.

The actress also briefly mentioned her boyfriend Lee Do Hyun, who’s serving in the military now, sharing, “We support each other a lot. He congratulated me during the Baeksang Arts Awards. I just hope he’s doing well and staying healthy.” She added, “We don’t interfere much in each other’s work, but just having each other is a great source of strength.”

Revolver is set to premiere on the 7th.
