JTBC’s upcoming drama “The Tale of Lady Ok” has unveiled a new glimpse of the chemistry between leads Lim Ji Yeon and Choo Young Woo!
“The Tale of Lady Ok” follows the intense survival con game of runaway slave Goo Deok Yi (Lim Ji Yeon), who assumes a false identity, and Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), who risks everything to protect her.
After escaping from her abusive master, Goo Deok Yi unexpectedly winds up taking on the identity of Lady Ok Tae Young and faking her name, social status, and even her husband. However, she isn’t the only one hiding her true identity: Cheon Seung Hwi, a renowned storyteller who has captivated the entire nation with his stories, is also hiding the fact that he is actually Song Seo In, the eldest son of the noble Song family.
Although both Goo Deok Yi and Song Seo In are living their lives under false identities, they have a special relationship that allows them to take their masks off and let their guard down around one another. In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, the deep connection between them is apparent whether they are facing one another or looking off in the same direction.
Even as they bicker with one another and Goo Deok Yi covers Song Seo In’s mouth with one hand, it’s clear just how close they are and how fond they are of each other.
“The Tale of Lady Ok” will premiere on November 30 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out the latest teaser for the drama here!
