After intriguing viewers with the drama’s 7th episode, the mystery-thriller series wrapped up the season with surprising scenes.
Based on the novel “Lies Hidden in My Backyard,” the 8-episode K-drama was headlined by Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon.
Moon Joo Ran (Kim Tae Hee) was blinded by the secrets of her husband, Park Jae Ho (Kim Sung Oh).
Meanwhile, Choo Sang Eun (Lim Ji Yeon) gets intertwined with the couple after the death of her husband, Kim Yoon Beom (Choi Jae Rim).

“Lies Hidden in My Garden” Episode 8 began with Moon Joo Ran picking up her husband in his office. This was to set the mood for wanting to know his inner thoughts regarding the murder inside their house and being manipulated by her husband.
At this point, she held the upper hand and made Park Jae Hoo think that Moon Joo Ran wanted to cover up Lee Soo Min’s death and make Choo Sang Eun forever silent.
However, it felt like it was Joo Ran’s plan all along.
As Park Jae Hoo thought that he and his wife were in the same boat, she began to ask questions regarding his motive for killing Lee Soo Min and their son’s silence regarding the incident.

Park Jae Ho tried to manipulate Joo Ran once again, but it stood out against him. She secretly handed a knife to Choo Sang Eun to protect her in case.
Unfortunately, Park Jae Ho noticed something about her and attacked the pregnant Sang Eun.
Thankfully, her tactic to get the attention of the neighbor worked.
As soon as Park Jae Ho tried to strangle Moon Joo Ran, Sang Eun broke the glass window, and Moon Joo Ran found a way to defend herself and escape the attack.
However, Park Jae Ho ended up dead after being pushed by Moon Joo Ran off the stairs. At this point, she revealed the truth to the police but pinned Kim Yoon Beom’s death on her late husband.
Moreover, Choo Sang Eun also got the 500 million KRW that Joo Ran promised.
At some point, “Lies Hidden in My Garden” ended on a positive note. Both Choo Sang Eun and Moon Joo Ran had a fresh start after the incident.
Sang Eun delivered a healthy baby and now has a small business.
As for Moon Joo Ran, she still lives at their marital house along with her mother and Sung Jae after serving prison time.
