Lee Yeon Hee has become a mother, four years after her marriage.
SM Entertainment shared the happy news on September 13th, announcing, “Lee Yeon Hee gave birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Seoul on the 11th.”
They added, “Both mother and baby are healthy and resting comfortably with their family’s care. We ask for your warm blessings and support for Lee Yeon Hee as she welcomes this precious new addition to her family.”
The actress married a non-celebrity two years her senior in February 2020 and revealed her pregnancy in June. At that time, her agency said, “A precious new life is on the way for Lee Yeon Hee and her family. Please send your blessings as they prepare to welcome their child in September.”
Lee Yeon Hee made her debut in 2001 after winning the grand prize at the 2nd SM Youth Best Selection Contest. She has since appeared in movies like A Millionaire’s First Love (2006) and Hello, Schoolgirl (2008), as well as dramas such as East of Eden (2008), Phantom (2012) and Splendid Politics (2015).
