Actress Lee Sung Kyung may be starring in a musical!
On July 9, a media outlet reported that actress Lee Sung Kyung had been cast in the role of Princess Jasmine in the musical “Aladdin,” which is set to premiere in the second half of this year.
In response to the report, YG Entertainment commented, “Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the casting.”
Featuring bold adventures, classic entertainment, a timeless love story, and true friendship, “Aladdin” follows Aladdin’s journey in the mystical kingdom of Agrabah. It is based on Disney’s animated film “Aladdin.”
“Aladdin” will be performed in two cities, Seoul and Busan. It opens at Charlotte Theater in Seoul on November 22 this year and runs until June 22, 2025, and in Busan, it opens at Dream Theater in July 2025.
