Lee Soo Hyuk is set to reveal his dark ambitions in the upcoming series The Queen ‘Woo’, where he plays a ruthless prince with his eyes on the throne.

The Queen ‘Woo’ is an intense historical action drama that follows the widow of a king, who must navigate a deadly power struggle as various factions and royal contenders vie for the throne within a harrowing 24-hour period.

In the series, Lee Soo Hyuk takes on the role of Go Bal Gi, the third prince and a serious contender for the throne. Known for his brutal and cunning nature, Go Bal Gi rules his territory with an iron fist, instilling fear in all who cross his path. Though his desire for the crown runs deep, he has long concealed his ambitions out of fear of the powerful and formidable king Go Nam Mu (Ji Chang Wook).

However, with the sudden death of the king, Go Bal Gi’s suppressed desires begin to surface. A man who stops at nothing to get what he wants, Go Bal Gi now has the perfect opportunity to seize power—but will he be able to outmaneuver the other contenders and fulfill his ambitions?

The newly released stills offer a glimpse into Lee Soo Hyuk’s chilling portrayal of Go Bal Gi. His character is shown with disheveled hair and loose clothing, adding to the unpredictability of his nature. In one particularly haunting image, Go Bal Gi is seen holding a sword with a cold, expressionless face, capturing the deadly calm that hides his ruthless intentions.

Lee Soo Hyuk’s commanding presence, marked by his deep voice and intense gaze, promises to elevate the tension in The Queen ‘Woo’. Known for leaving a lasting impression in every role, his performance in this series is one to watch.

The Queen ‘Woo’ premieres its first part on August 29th, with the second part following on September 12th, exclusively on TVING.
