TVING’s highly anticipated historical drama “Queen Woo” has unveiled new stills of Lee Soo Hyuk’s character!
“Queen Woo” is a historical action drama that follows the story of Queen Woo (Jeon Jong Seo), who becomes the target of five tribes seeking to gain authority and princes who are after the throne following the sudden passing of the king.
The drama also stars Kim Moo Yeol, Ji Chang Wook, Jung Yu Mi, Park Ji Hwan, and more.
Lee Soo Hyuk stars as Prince Go Bal Gi, the third prince and one of the candidates for the throne. Feared by many for his ruthless and vile nature, Go Bal Gi’s territory is shrouded in constant tension. His greed for the throne is as fierce as his temper, but he has kept his ambitions hidden due to his fear of the powerful King Go Nam Moo (Ji Chang Wook).
However, the king’s unexpected death awakens Go Bal Gi’s deeply rooted desire for power. Known for stopping at nothing to achieve his goals, all eyes are on whether Go Bal Gi can overpower the other contenders and fulfill his ambition.
The newly released stills capture Go Bal Gi’s deadly yet icy demeanor, depicting him as a key player in the battle for the throne. His disheveled appearance conveys his unpredictable nature, while his expressionless face as he holds a sword radiates menace.
Part 1 of “Queen Woo” will be released in full on August 29, followed by the complete release of Part 2 on September 12.
