The recently released film “About Family” has unveiled a special poster featuring Lee Seung Gi and Kim Yun Seok!
“About Family” tells the story of the owner of Pyungmanok, a popular dumpling restaurant, who suddenly finds himself living with unexpected guests—two adorable grandchildren he never knew he had. Ham Moo Ok (Kim Yun Seok), the owner of the restaurant, believed his family line had ended when his son Ham Moon Seok (Lee Seung Gi) became a monk.
The newly released poster captures a father-son moment between Ham Moo Ok and Ham Moon Seok at Lotte World amusement park. Despite being at this magical venue, the two are seated apart, gazing straight ahead without making eye contact. This awkward positioning sparks curiosity about the strained dynamic between them.
The captions at the top and middle of the poster read, “Grown distance in a father-son relationship,” and, “Can we get closer again?”—evoking the vibes of a dating reality show. The humorous lines, along with the contrasting stern expressions of the two, heighten anticipation for the film, which is already gaining traction in its first week since release.
“About Family” is currently showing in theaters.
