JTBC’s upcoming drama “Good Boy” has given a first glimpse of Lee Sang Yi’s character!
“Good Boy” is an action-packed comic drama that follows the journey of a group of Olympic medalists who, faced with financial struggles, short career spans, injuries, and other challenges, become special police officers through special recruitment. Together, they form the “Olympics Avengers” and use their unique skills acquired during their time as athletes to fight violent crime. The drama stars Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Suk.
Lee Sang Yi takes on the role of South Korea’s fencing gold medalist, Kim Jong Hyun. In the newly released stills, Kim Jong Hyun is seen advancing to the men’s sabre individual final, with the nation eagerly awaiting to see if he will clinch yet another gold medal. His fierce determination is evident as he clenches his fist and roars with every successful strike, embodying his relentless drive to win.
After retiring from fencing, Kim Jong Hyun now serves as an Assistant Inspector in the Special Investigation Team. A top graduate of the police academy, he is known for his passion and diligence, bringing the same unwavering determination to his pursuit of criminals in his new role.
