The film “Gyeongju Travel” (literal title) has completed filming!
On August 13, Lotte Entertainment announced that the eagerly awaited film “Gyeongju Travel,” starring a renowned cast of actors, has finished its three-month shoot.
“Gyeongju Travel” is a revenge road movie in which a mother, who lost her youngest daughter, leaves for Gyeongju with her three daughters to seek revenge against the perpetrator who caused her daughter’s death on the day the perpetrator is released from prison.
Veteran actress Lee Jung Eun, known for her impressive range, has been cast as Ok Sil, a mother who has been waiting for revenge after losing her youngest daughter Gyeong Ju. Lee Jung Eun is set to demonstrate her exceptional talent by portraying both the strength and resilience of Ok Sil and the profound emotional pain of her loss.
Gong Hyo Jin will play Jang Joo, the eldest daughter who takes exceptional care of her family. Reuniting with Lee Jung Eun after “When the Camellia Blooms,” Gong Hyo Jin is expected to bring a realistic portrayal of the eldest daughter.
Park So Dam will take on the role of Young Joo, the second daughter who is a law school graduate but currently unemployed, offering a compelling performance. Rising star Lee Yeon will join the cast as Dong Joo, the third daughter and a former wrestler known for her unpredictable charm.
