The film “Escape” has released special posters!
“Escape” tells the story of the other side of the barbed-wire fence at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and depicts the fierce escape and pursuit of North Korean soldier Gyu Nam (Lee Je Hoon), who dreams of living a life with a future, and security team officer Hyun Sang (Koo Kyo Hwan), who must stop him. The film is helmed by Lee Jong Pil of “Samjin Company English Class” and “The Sound of a Flower.”
The film “Escape,” which topped the overall box office in its third week of release, has unveiled special posters.
The special posters capture the tense moment between fugitive Gyu Nam and pursuer Hyun Sang. In one poster, Gyu Nam is viewed through Hyun Sang’s scope, his determined gaze fixed on Hyun Sang’s gun, showcasing his strong will to escape.
In Gyu Nam’s special poster, the phrase, “Even if I die, I’ll be the one to die, and even if I live, I’ll be the one to live,” vividly depicts Gyu Nam’s character as one who confronts the danger of death directly, expressing a strong desire to escape for a better future.
Hyun Sang’s poster captures attention with his cold eyes aiming a gun at Gyu Nam. The phrase, “No one can escape from here alive,” intensifies the visual impact, reflecting the tension and composed demeanor of the character as he mercilessly targets Gyu Nam.
These scenes, highly praised by audiences post-release, prompted requests for the production of posters. They highlight the film’s direction, which vividly portrays the characters’ resolute determination and urgency.
The special posters will be offered as a gift to moviegoers watching “Escape” at MEGABOX starting on July 20.
