Lee Jae Wook and Choi Sung Eun are set to bring their on-screen chemistry to life in the upcoming drama The Last Summer (literal title).
Industry insiders told Sports Chosun on the 19th that the two actors have been cast as the leads in this fresh romantic series. The Last Summer tells the story of a woman who hates summer and a man who has waited all year for it, reuniting after two years apart. Their complex romance unfolds as they get to know each other inside and out, all set against the backdrop of the summer season.
Lee Jae Wook will take on the role of Baek Do Ha, the head architect at Pluto Atelier, who appears to be a driven racehorse focused on his goals but harbors hidden depths within. Choi Sung Eun will portray Song Ha Kyung, a level-7 civil servant in the architectural department, known for her rise from humble beginnings. The two characters’ reunion promises to add even more intrigue to the summer setting.
