On September 23, duover announced through their official social media channels that they signed an exclusive contract with Lee Hi. They also released a video featuring her unreleased new song “One Thing” on her official YouTube channel to celebrate her birthday on the same day.
duover stated, “We are excited to work with Lee Hi and plan to support her in fully showcasing her artistic abilities.” They added, “We are pleased to share her song and a video, which she participated in producing, filming, and editing, as a gift for her fans who have waited a long time.”
Lee Hi, who first gained attention as the runner-up in Season 1 of the audition program “K-Pop Star,” officially debuted in the music industry in 2012 with “1.2.3.4.” Since then, she has established herself as a trusted artist known for her soulful voice and diverse music spectrum, with hits like “ROSE,” “BREATHE,” and “HOLO.”
In addition, Lee Hi has collaborated with renowned artists such as Kim Yoon Ah, Epik High, Crush, and Dok2. She has also actively contributed to OSTs for dramas including “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” “Record of Youth,” and “Now, We Are Breaking Up” as well as the film “Golden Slumber.” Most recently, she participated in the original soundtrack for the upcoming ENA series “Dear Hyeri.”
Lee Hi’s new agency duover was established in May and takes its name from the phrase “do-over,” which signifies “to start anew” and “to take on new challenges.” The agency is co-led by singer and producer Gray, CODE KUNST, and Woo Won Jae, all of whom are also affiliated artists.
