Kwon Eunbin and Lovelyz member Jeong Yein are set to star in a new sci-fi mystery thriller drama!
On September 19, the two actors were confirmed to appear in the upcoming drama “Mosquito’s Mouth” (literal translation).
“Mosquito’s Mouth” will be the first season of the “Mystic” series, which is based on the webtoon “Shinsang Mystery Theater.” The show will follow characters who gain extraordinary abilities through supernatural events, enabling them to realize their desires.
In the upcoming drama, Jeong Yein will play Kang So Hee, a shy and innocent college student who is a huge fan of dating reality shows. She finds solace in watching dating shows while eating sweet cake, which she considers her only source of happiness. However, her life takes a drastic turn when she receives a “mosquito’s mouth” from a mysterious woman, giving her a perfect appearance and reputation.
Kwon Eunbin will take on the role of Jin Joo Ri, a well-known beauty influencer with over 900,000 followers. Joo Ri, who has been admired for her looks since childhood, is So Hee’s closest friend. However, their relationship faces challenges due to unforeseen events.
“Mosquito’s Mouth” is scheduled to premiere in the first half of next year via an OTT (over-the-top) platform. Stay tuned for more updates!
