The star-studded new drama “All The Love You Wish For” (working title) has shared a glimpse of its first script reading!
On May 20, Netflix confirmed production and the cast lineup of the drama “All The Love You Wish For” by releasing photos from its script reading.
“All The Love You Wish For” is a fantasy rom-com about an overly emotional genie trapped inside a lamp and the woman who helps him escape his prison. The drama is penned by Kim Eun Sook, the famous writer known for hit dramas such as “The Glory,” “Goblin,” “Mister Sunshine,” and “Heirs” (which also starred Kim Woo Bin), and it is helmed by director Lee Byung Hun of “Extreme Job” and “Melo Is My Nature.”
Kim Woo Bin takes on the role of Jinn, the volatile genie who awakens after a thousand years. Kim Woo Bin showcased his deep acting skills through various projects including the dramas “Black Knight,” “Our Blues,” and “The Heirs” as well as the films “Alienoid” and “Twenty.”
Suzy, who impressed through many hit projects including the film “Architecture 101” as well as the dramas “Anna,” “Start-Up,” and “Dream High,” plays Ka Young, a human who lacks emotion. The reunion of Kim Woo Bin and Suzy, who previously starred together in the hit 2016 drama “Uncontrollably Fond,” raises anticipation for their chemistry.
More cast members including Ahn Eun Jin, Noh Sang Hyun, Go Kyu Pil, and Lee Joo Young are expected to add excitement to the story. Ahn Eun Jin, who received great love by playing the role of Yoo Gil Chae in “My Dearest,” transforms into Mi Joo, a mysterious woman who lives under the same roof as Ka Young.
Noh Sang Hyun, who established himself as a global actor through “Pachinko,” portrays Soo Hyun, a handsome building owner who is at odds with his brother Jinn.
Go Kyu Pil stars as Sayyid, Jinn’s assistant who is secretly a black jaguar, while Lee Joo Young plays Ka Young’s only friend Min Ji.
