Netflix has officially announced the release date of “Hellbound 2”!
Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, Season 1 of “Hellbound” was set in a world where humans faced a frightening supernatural phenomenon: emissaries from hell appeared on Earth without warning and condemned people to hell. In “Hellbound 2,” the plot thickens as Min Hye Jin (Kim Hyun Joo), a lawyer for Sodo, gets entangled with the New Truth Society, the Arrowhead faction, and the shocking resurrection of New Truth leader Jung Jin Su (Kim Sung Cheol) and Park Jung Ja (Kim Shin Rok).
Kim Sung Cheol will play the first chairman of the New Truth Society Jung Jin Su, who was previously played by Yoo Ah In in Season 1.
The newly released teaser showcases the dramatic resurrection of Jung Jin Su, who was previously subjected to public demonstration in Season 1. The footage reveals his harrowing awakening, only to face the hellish creatures once again as he cries out in the flames.
With decrees and demonstrations now rampant, the sudden resurrection of Jung Jin Su hints at a much deeper and more complex world in “Hellbound 2,” promising a gripping continuation of the story.
