Disney+’s upcoming drama “The Tyrant” has shared a sneak peek of Kim Seon Ho’s character!
“The Tyrant” is a four-part chase action drama that unfolds after the final sample from a program called the “Tyrant Program” disappears due to a delivery mishap. This sets off a chain of pursuits involving individuals with different motives, each competing to secure the sample. Cha Seung Won stars as Im Sang, a former agent tasked with eliminating those connected to the Tyrant Program. Kim Seon Ho plays Director Choi, an unofficial mastermind behind the program, linked to a government agency.
Kim Seon Ho, who plays Director Choi, the architect secretly safeguarding the Tyrant Program, will showcase a stern, elite agent persona unlike any seen before. Director Choi is a character who tirelessly fights to protect the Tyrant Program from external forces. He remains calm in the face of any crisis, adding gravity to the story.
Kim Seon Ho commented, “Unlike the roles I’ve taken on before, this character is lonely and isolated, and I wanted to take on that challenge.” He added, “Director Park Hoon Jung and I worked closely to capture the detailed expressions and subtle emotional shifts in each scene.”
Cinematographer Kim Young Ho praised Kim Seon Ho, calling him “an even more powerful actor in close-up scenes that express subtle emotions.”
“The Tyrant” is set to premiere on August 14.
