Kim Seon Ho and Suzy may be reuniting in a new drama!
On August 14, Kim Seon Ho’s agency SALT Entertainment officially confirmed, “It’s true that Kim Seon Ho has received an offer to star in ‘Delusion,’ and he is currently in talks to appear, with a favorable outlook.”
Based on the webtoon of the same name, Han Jae Rim’s adaptation of “Delusion” is a mystery thriller set in 1935 Gyeongseong and 19th-century Shanghai. The drama will tell the story of artist Yun Iho, who is commissioned to paint a portrait of the mysterious woman Song Jeong Hwa and gradually finds himself falling under her spell.
Earlier this year, Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee were confirmed to be in talks to star in “Delusion,” but following their dating and subsequent breakup news, the drama’s production company announced that the two actors were no longer attached to the project.
At the end of July, Suzy was revealed to be in talks to play female lead Song Jeong Hwa, with the production company explaining that she had actually been the first actress to receive an offer for the role, but that her casting had not worked out at the time due to scheduling conflicts.
Kim Seon Ho—who previously starred opposite Suzy in the hit 2020 drama “Start-Up” four years ago—has been offered the role of male lead Yun Iho, meaning that “Delusion” may mark the two actors’ reunion.
