Upcoming film “Nocturnal” has offered a sneak peek of Kim Nam Gil’s character!
“Nocturnal” follows the story of Bae Min Tae (Ha Jung Woo), who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his younger brother’s mysterious death, the disappearance of his brother’s wife, and the bestselling novel that eerily predicts the incident.
Kim Nam Gil stars as Kang Ho Ryung, a novelist who writes about the death of Seok Tae, the younger brother of Min Tae. Ho Ryung’s novel, inspired by a story shared by Moon Young (Yoo Da In), a woman attending a class at a cultural center, becomes a bestseller. One day, the police inform Ho Ryung that Seok Tae’s death mirrors the events in his book. To protect his novel and reputation, Ho Ryung sets out to find the missing Moon Young. As he becomes entangled in the case, Ho Ryung clashes with Min Tae, who is determined to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death on that fateful night.
In the newly released stills, Ho Ryung wears a mysterious expression, sparking curiosity about his relationship with Moon Young and how his novel might be tied to Seok Tae’s death. As he unravels the complex events, anticipation grows over whether Ho Ryung will face the truth of that fateful day.
Kim Nam Gil described his character Ho Ryung as “someone who doesn’t openly show emotions, even amid the turmoil caused by Seok Tae’s death. However, he feels responsible for the death depicted in his novel and sets out to uncover the truth.”
He added, “Watching Ho Ryung quietly observe the events unfold among dynamic characters will provide a unique thrill,” heightening anticipation for both the character and the mystery that will fuel the story’s tension.
“Nocturnal” is set to hit theaters on February 5 KST. Stay tuned!
