Kim Nam Gil may be starring in a new drama!

On November 7, a media outlet reported that Kim Nam Gil is considering starring in the upcoming drama “True Education” (literal translation).

In response to the report, a representative from Kim Nam Gil’s agency shared that “True Education” is a project that they are reviewing.

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “True Education” is an action-packed school drama that delves into the lives of students, parents, and teachers. Set in a society where teachers’ authority has declined due to students who cross boundaries, parents who overstep, and teachers who try to establish limits, the drama introduces an adult who isn’t afraid of children and aims to properly teach them right from wrong. The drama will be directed by Hong Jong Chan of “Dear My Friends,” “Juvenile Justice,” and the upcoming drama “Mr. Plankton.”

Kim Nam Gil has reportedly been offered the role of Na Hwa Jin, a field supervisor at the Teachers’ Rights Protection Bureau. Na Hwa Jin is a well-rounded character with exceptional mental, physical, and intellectual abilities. He’s the mastermind behind the Bureau’s plans and is fearless, earning him the nickname “Grim Reaper.” Despite this tough image, his true goal is to protect justice and peace.

Currently, Kim Nam Gil is set to appear in the upcoming drama “The Fiery Priest 2.”
