KBS2’s upcoming drama “Dare to Love Me” has shared new stills ahead of its premiere!
Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Dare to Love Me” is a romantic comedy about the love story between Shin Yoon Bok (INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo), a 21st-century scholar from Seongsan village who believes deeply in Confucian values, and his art teacher Kim Hong Do (Lee Yoo Young), who has a reckless and straightforward personality.
The newly released stills capture an encounter between Shin Yoon Bok and Kim Hong Do as they lock eyes. In this image, Shin Yoon Bok looks visibly younger than in the present, with his hair down and wearing glasses, hinting that their relationship traces back to a long time ago.
Another still portrays the two characters sitting in a food tent with their backs to each other, sparking both curiosity and laughter among viewers. Despite their reunion after a long time, they maintain an awkward distance following Shin Yoon Bok’s rule. Shin Yoon Bok’s obsession with politeness and Kim Hong Do’s respect for his manners are expected to crease a unique chemistry between them.
However, their romantic relationship doesn’t always progress smoothly. While Shin Yoon Bok agrees with everything Kim Hong Do says and takes care of her diligently, he sternly rejects her confession of feelings, leaving viewers curious to know the reason behind his decision. Their romance promises to be full of twists and turns, given the stark contrast between Shin Yoon Book’s adherence to Confucian values and Kim Hong Do’s straightforward personality.
“Dare to Love Me” is set to premiere on May 13 at 10:10 p.m. KST.
