Upcoming film “Revolver” has shared new stills featuring Kim Jun Han, Kim Jong Soo, and Jung Man Sik!
“Revolver” is a new film about a former police officer named Ha Soo Young (Jeon Do Yeon) who goes to prison after taking the fall for a crime. Upon her release, she dedicates herself to a singular goal in life.
Kim Jun Han stars as Shin Dong Ho, a junior detective and colleague of Soo Young. Dong Ho secretly monitors Eastern Promise, where Andy (Ji Chang Wook), who broke his promise to Soo Young, was employed. Following the instructions of the head of Eastern Promise, Dong Ho begins to track Soo Young’s movements.
Director Oh Seung Wook explained why he cast Kim Jun Han, saying, “Kim Jun Han found the script’s structure interesting, and I thought he would fit well with the image of Shin Dong Ho.” Oh Seung Wook also noted that Kim Jun Han “perfectly captured the shadowy and superficial aspects of the character.”
Veteran actor Kim Jong Soo stars as the department head who takes on the responsibilities left by Andy. Known for his resourcefulness in manipulating people, he takes control of Jung Yoon Seon (Lim Ji Yeon), Shin Dong Ho, and President Cho (Jung Man Sik). He keeps a close eye on Soo Young, waiting for the right moment to quietly handle the case.
Director Oh Seung Wook lavished praise, saying, “Kim Jong Soo is a rare talent that can’t be found anywhere. As a director, I feel it’s a blessing to have him on this project.”
Jung Man Sik plays President Cho, a character who maintains his power through cunning and manipulation. Unlike Soo Young, who goes to prison for a past corruption scandal, President Cho prospers by running a successful screen golf business. When Soo Young later tries to uncover Andy’s true identity, President Cho skillfully avoids her questions.
Director Oh Seung Wook praised Jung Man Sik, saying, “He portrayed a character who is both resourceful and resolute. His performance added significant depth to the film.”
“Revolver” is set to hit theaters on August 7. Stay tuned!
