Kim Jae Young shared about his close friendship with Byeon Woo Seok and Joo Woo Jae in a recent interview following the conclusion of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama The Judge from Hell. He revealed, “My close friends joked that I’ve become a star.”

Kim said, “Even though Joo Woo Jae and Byeon Woo Seok are incredibly busy, they still text me saying, ‘Your show is amazing,’ ‘You look great,’ and ‘The show’s fantastic.’ We always support each other whenever we have a new project.” He added, “Many of my other friends also reached out, which felt really good.”
Kim went on to express his excitement over the show’s strong viewership, saying, “I’m happy with the ratings for this drama. The storyline was engaging, the pacing was quick, and there were lots of intense scenes. I think viewers really enjoyed the cathartic revenge theme and how it tackled real-life issues.”

The Judge from Hell, which aired its finale on November 2nd, follows the story of demon Kang Bit Na (played by Park Shin Hye), who takes over the body of a judge and teams up with passionate detective Han Da On (played by Kim Jae Young) to punish wrongdoers. The drama reached a peak viewership rating of 13.6% in episode 8.
