Upcoming JTBC drama “The Tale of Lady Ok” has shared new stills of Kim Jae Won and Yeonwoo!
“The Tale of Lady Ok” tells the intense survival con game of runaway slave Goo Deok Yi (Lim Ji Yeon), who assumes the identity of Lady Ok Tae Young after faking her name, status, and even her husband, and Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), who risks everything to protect her. Kim Jae Won will play Ok Tae Young’s brother-in-law Sung Do Kyeom, while Yeonwoo will play Cha Mi Ryeong (Yeonwoo), who looks up to Ok Tae Young as a role model.
Sung Do Kyeom has sincerely admired and respected his sister-in-law Ok Tae Young since childhood. In order to make her proud, he passed the state exams and returned in honor, becoming a young man envied by the entire neighborhood. However, one day, he suddenly finds himself entangled with a certain woman.
That woman is none other than Cha Mi Ryeong, an eager apprentice learning from Ok Tae Young. Cha Mi Ryeong is a confident and kind-hearted woman who cannot ignore injustice and passionately tries to emulate Ok Tae Young, but who harbors a secret that no one knows.
With Ok Tae Young as their connection, Sung Do Kyeom and Cha Mi Ryeong form a special bond. Sung Do Kyeom, with his dignified and refined appearance, embodies the perfect young master from a noble family, while Cha Mi Ryeong has a pretty, youthful face and a lovely gaze. The warm atmosphere between the two characters piques curiosity about their story and how they will become involved in the fake Ok Tae Young and Cheon Seung Hwi’s risky con game.
“The Tale of Lady Ok” is set to premiere on November 30 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
