KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “Iron Family” has unveiled new stills of Kim Hye Eun!
Penned by screenwriter Seo Sook Hyang of “Pasta,” “Don’t Dare to Dream” (also known as “Jealousy Incarnate”), and “Wok of Love,” “Iron Family” is a dark comedy about a family that has run a laundry business for three generations.
Kim Hye Eun will play the role of Baek Ji Yeon, the wife of the chairman of Jiseung Group. After raising her son Seo Kang Joo (Kim Jung Hyun) on her own, she marries Ji Seung Don (Shin Hyun Joon) and receives a major gift from her father. Although she has managed to keep this gift a secret for years, she soon finds herself caught up in an unexpected whirlwind of events. When Ji Yeon’s long-hidden secret is exposed to her son and her husband, she faces a crisis in her marriage and a significant upheaval in her life.
Even in still photos, Baek Ji Yeon radiates elegance, fitting her role as a wealthy wife. Though she exudes a luxurious old-money style, she also shows a cute and innocent side that contrasts with her refined look. Her childlike side, evident when she clasps her hands and makes a plea to someone, hints at the character’s diverse array of charms.
“Iron Family” will premiere on September 28 at 7:55 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of “Beauty and Mr. Romantic.”
