“Bitter Sweet Hell” is a black comedy-thriller starring Kim Hee Sun as Noh Young Won, the top family psychiatrist in all of Korea. When an anonymous blackmailer puts her career and family at risk, Noh Young Won teams up with her mother-in-law Hong Sa Gang (Lee Hye Young), a mystery novelist, to protect their family.

Previously, Noh Young Won and Hong Sa Gang reluctantly joined forces to locate Choi Jae Jin (Kim Nam Hee), who is on the run with his girlfriend Lee Se Na (Yeonwoo). As they search for Choi Jae Jin on an island, they’re stunned to find that the car pulled from the sea is his rental car, raising suspicions.

As Hong Sa Gang jumps on the trampoline, appearing deep in thought, closing her eyes and yielding to the springs, Noh Young Won, watching nervously from the sidelines, eventually approaches her on the trampoline with a worried expression.
Noh Young Won’s face shows anxiety and anguish, while Hong Sa Gang appears frozen in anger, highlighting the stark contrast between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. As they confront each other on the trampoline, both exhibiting unusual behavior, curiosity peaks about the reason behind their actions amidst the tense standoff.
