KBS2’s upcoming drama “Miss Granny” has unveiled new glimpses of Kim Hae Sook’s character!

A remake of the film of the same name, which has spawned multiple remakes in other countries, “Miss Granny” is a music romance drama about a grandmother in her 70s named Oh Mal Soon who suddenly transforms into a 20-year-old Oh Doo Ri and gets to enjoy the prime of her youth once again.

Kim Hae Sook plays Oh Mal Soon, a character who defies her age with her surprising agility and sharp voice. Resilient and meticulous, Mal Soon commands a strong presence and ensures not a single penny goes to waste.

The newly released stills showcase the range of Mal Soon’s charisma, capturing both her warmth as a grandmother and the unspoken sorrows from her life.

Her complicated relationships with her daughter Ban Ji Sook (Seo Young Hee) and granddaughter Choi Ha Na (Chae Won Bin) add depth to the story, revealing both tensions and warmth within this three-generation family. Despite sacrificing everything to help her daughter rise to an executive position at a big company, their relationship remains strained, culminating in a heated argument that drives Mal Soon to leave home. However, her witty exchanges and lively banter with her bold granddaughter Ha Na bring humor to the show.

As Mal Soon navigates her dynamic daily life, an even more dramatic twist awaits her: during a random visit to a photo studio, she magically transforms into a 20-year-old body. Embracing her newfound youthful appearance and melodious voice, Mal Soon decides to pursue her long-lost dream of becoming a singer, setting the stage for a heartwarming journey of self-discovery and second chances.

“Miss Granny” is set to premiere in December following the conclusion of “Face Me.”
