Disney Plus has confirmed that its hit original variety show, The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3, will premiere on August 7th. Along with the announcement, a teaser and four preview stills have been released, showcasing the excitement to come.
The Zone: Survival Mission returns with Yoo Jae Suk, Kwon Yuri, Kim Dong Hyun, and Dex for its third installment. This new season promises even more extreme and relatable missions, including surviving endless AI attacks, paying off home loans, and enduring challenges without crossing boundaries, all within a grueling four-hour time limit.
The teaser highlights the bold ambitions of the four stars, promising to deliver big laughs to global audiences this summer. Veteran survivors Yoo Jae Suk and Kwon Yuri are joined by newcomers Kim Dong Hyun and Dex, whose dynamic energy is expected to create explosive chemistry.
In the video, Yoo Jae Suk introduces the new season by saying, “Surviving for four hours in virtual spaces that blur reality and surreality. The missions have become more bizarre and intense.” Kim Dong Hyun adds, “As a fan of Seasons 1 and 2, I boldly accepted the challenge. But this season’s endurance tests are on a whole new level. As a former MMA fighter, I’m excited to show how I’ll tackle these new challenges.”
Dex also shares his excitement, saying, “The missions are on a much larger scale and more difficult than I anticipated. But with full power and energy, I promise to deliver big laughs and entertainment.” Kwon Yuri, who has been a standout throughout the series, teased, “Let’s see if Kim Dong Hyun and Dex can keep their confidence in these extreme missions!
