It’s official—Kim Da Mi, Shin Ye Eun, and Heo Nam Jun will star in JTBC’s upcoming drama “A Hundred Memories” (working title)!
“A Hundred Memories” is a nostalgic 1980s youth romance drama centered around bus conductor Young Rye, her close friendship with Jong Hee, and their shared first love, Jae Pil. As the trio comes of age, the drama offers laughter, empathy, and heartfelt emotion while evoking nostalgic memories. The drama is directed by Kim Sang Ho of JTBC’s “Thirty-Nine” and penned by Yang Hee Seung, the writer behind “Crash Course in Romance.”
Kim Da Mi stars as Go Young Rye, a dedicated bus conductor on Cheong Ah Transport’s 100 route. Despite struggling with constant motion sickness, Young Rye rides the bus every day to support her mother and pursue her dream of going to college, embodying the determination of a hardworking eldest daughter. Though she appears diligent, bright, and sensitive, she reveals a fierce side, relentlessly chasing down fare evaders when necessary.
Shin Ye Eun plays Seo Jong Hee, a charismatic and energetic bus conductor at Cheong Ah Transport. Full of natural charm, she radiates confidence and a bold, standout personality. Hoping to escape a difficult home life, Jong Hee finds stability at Cheong Ah Transport, where she meets Young Rye and forms a deep, lasting friendship. With her bubbly, fearless nature, the role seems perfectly suited for Shin Ye Eun.
Heo Nam Jun stars as Han Jae Pil, the first love of Young Rye and Jong Hee. As the son of a department store president, Jae Pil’s wealth and polished appearance set him apart, earning him the nickname “prince charming.” Beneath his privileged exterior, however, he grapples with deep emotional pain while navigating a turbulent phase in his life. With a rebellious energy, Heo Nam Jun brings unique charm to the role.
The production team said, “Rising stars Kim Da Mi, Shin Ye Eun, and Heo Nam Jun have come together for ‘A Hundred Memories.’ They will take viewers on a nostalgic journey to the lively, hopeful youth of the 1980s.” They added, “While times have changed, the dreams and hope of young people in the face of life’s challenges remain just as bright. We aim to create a series that resonates with both older generations who lived through that era and today’s youth, offering moments of laughter and tears. We hope you look forward to it.”
