It’s official—Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku will be starring in “Narco-Saints” director Yoon Jong Bin’s new series “Nine Puzzles“!
On April 2, a source from Disney+ shared that Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku’s upcoming original series “Nine Puzzles” is slated to premiere in 2025.
“Nine Puzzles” is a mystery thriller that follows the story of profiler Yi Na (Kim Da Mi), who was the only witness of an unresolved case from 10 years ago, and detective Han Saem (Son Suk Ku), who still believers her to be a suspect, as they unearth the secrets of a serial murder case that begins with a mysterious puzzle piece.
The drama will be helmed by director Yoon Jong Bin who previously captivated with “The Spy Gone North,” “Kundo: Age of the Rampant,” “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time,” and “Narco-Saints.”
Kim Da Mi will play the skilled profiler Yi Na who is a member of the Criminal Analysis Team of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Forensic Science Department. On site, she is the fastest to understand the criminal’s psychology and motivation. 10 years ago when her uncle was murdered, Yi Na was the only witness and suspect. Yi Na will search for the truth in her own way.
Son Suk Ku plays Han Saem, a Violent Crimes Team detective who investigates cases with Yi Na. Han Saem is an elite police officer with persistence and sharpness, and he is an unconventional figure who makes others confused and flustered with his unusual actions.
