  • Frankly Speaking (5/1)

JTBC’s Wednesday and Thursday dramas, which have been on hiatus since the end of Queen of Divorce, will return with a new drama titled Frankly Speaking which is a romantic comedy starring Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Na. As with Honest Candidate, the series tells the story of a person who finds himself unable to lie after an unexpected accident. Go Kyung Pyo’s role is that of a presenter incapable of lying, raising expectations for his one-man show since the release of the teaser. The series will be available on Netflix.

Her path then crosses with that of Do Da Hae, played by Chun Woo Hee, a woman from a family with a history of superpowers.

After years of playing the role of the best friend in love, Wi Ha Jun is finally in the spotlight. He will star alongside Jung Ryeo Won in The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, a cross-generational love story in which a veteran academy instructor meets a former student who returns ten years later as a rookie teacher. This is a passion project from director Ahn Pan Seok, known for his heartwarming melodramas such as Something in the Rain and One Spring Night.

This director’s previous successes have all eyes on Wi Ha Jun’s transformation into the leading man in this refreshing romance. The series will be available on Netflix.
