Kang Tae Oh has made a striking return to the limelight with his latest fashion spread in the May issue of GQ Korea, where he showcased a variety of edgy looks.
In the photos, Kang commands attention in unique textured tops and oversized pants. His transition between the monochrome effects and mix-and-match fashion creates a visually stunning dichotomy of warmth and coolness, garnering high praise from the photoshoot staff.
Addressing his first photoshoot since his military discharge, Kang opened up about his fears during his service. “I was worried about being forgotten, but I realistically assessed what I could do and where I should focus my energies as ‘Instructor Kim Yoon Hwan,’” he explained.
Reflecting on the significant time spent in the military during the pivotal transition from his twenties to thirties, Kang noted, “It was a crucial period for self-reflection, objectivity, and understanding relationships—a time that fundamentally changed my outlook and helped draft the blueprint of my life.”
Kang describes his current state as “emerald-colored,” elaborating, “Over the past eighteen months, I’ve carefully honed this robust shine. I aim to preserve it and share it with everyone.”
