Starting earlier this month, K-pop fans began posting about cereal, and the reason why may shock you…
Pictures of cereal with TXT’s five members decorating the boxes began to take over the internet, but not every fan believed them to be real at first. A few pictures turned into a few dozen. Boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Reeses’ Puffs decorated timelines until fans started to believe this might be a real collab.
Sure enough, General Mills announced the official collaboration on April 16th, and fans went absolutely crazy.
Set to officially debut in May, there are six different boxes that can be found in Walmarts across the US, each one featuring a different member including one box that has the boys all together.
You can collect all the Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Honey Nut Cheerios, Cookie Crisp and Reese’s Puffs boxes along with the stand-up cutouts each box comes in.
Since the initial photos, MOAs all across the country are posting what boxes they can find at their local Walmart. General Mills must’ve really put in the work to research their target audience – attracting K-pop stans with collectable exclusive items always works out (think: photocards) Anyway, which member will you be scouring shelves for?
