K-pop artists had an incredible year in Japan!

This week, Billboard Japan published its annual year-end charts for 2023, and K-pop artists claimed a whopping six of the top 10 spots on this year’s Hot Albums Chart.

K-Pop Artists Claim 32 Spots On Billboard Japan’s 2023 Year-End Hot Albums Chart

Stray Kids took No. 3 on the Hot Albums Chart for 2023 with their Japanese EP “Social Path (feat. LiSA) / Super Bowl -Japanese ver.-,” while their first Japanese studio album “THE SOUND” ranked No. 5 for the year.

SEVENTEEN claimed an impressive three spots in this year’s top 10, and notably, two of them went to Korean albums. The group’s Korean mini album “FML” took No. 4 for 2023, followed by their Japanese best-of compilation album “ALWAYS YOURS” at No. 5 and their most recent Korean mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” at No. 7.

Meanwhile, TXT’s Japanese studio album “SWEET” made the year-end list at No. 10.
