tvN’s upcoming drama “Love Your Enemy” has shared new stills featuring Jung Yu Mi!
“Love Your Enemy” is a romance drama about “arch-nemeses” Seok Ji Won (Ju Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Won (Jung Yu Mi), who were born on the same day with the same name and whose families have been enemies for generations.
Jung Yu Mi stars as Yoon Ji Won, a physical education teacher known as “the mad dog of Dokmok High School” from her high school days. After 18 years, Yoon Ji Won reconnects with Seok Ji Won, her first love and long-time rival, sparking a romantic drama between the two.
Jung Yu Mi is well-known for her roles in romantic comedies, such as “I Need Romance 2012” and “Discovery of Love.” Now, she returns in “Love Your Enemy,” bringing her signature charm and likability to the role of Yoon Ji Won. In addition to her usual bright energy, Yoon Ji Won has a fiery, passionate personality and, like her high school nickname, can’t stand injustice.
At a recent press conference, Jung Yu Mi said, “While Joo Yeol Mae (her character in ‘I Need Romance 2012’) and Han Yeo Reum (her character in ‘Discovery of Love’) have a lot of romantic experience, Yoon Ji Won doesn’t. There’s still a lot I want to show in romantic comedy.” She expressed confidence in her role.
Jung Yu Mi also explained why she chose “Love Your Enemy,” saying, “The script was interesting, and when I asked director Park Jun Hwa what kind of drama he wanted to create, he said, ‘I want to heal while filming.’ I also wanted to tell a simple and comfortable story after a long time.”
“Love Your Enemy” premieres on November 23 at 9:20 p.m. KST and will be available for viewing on Viki. Stay tuned!
