Jung Woo Sung‘s past comments are back in the spotlight.
Ahead of the release of The Good, The Bad, The Weird in 2008, Jung Woo Sung sat down for an interview with No Cut News.
During the interview, he revealed that he had recently broken up with his long-time girlfriend, saying, “I feel free after the long relationship. I’d rather have more casual relationships than a serious one, but it hasn’t worked out as I expected.” He jokingly added, “Do I seem like a playboy?”
He also mentioned, “I have a lot going on right now, so I don’t have any plans for marriage. The older I get, the more complicated it feels.” He described his ideal partner as someone with whom he could share many things.
Fast forward 16 years, and Jung Woo Sung has become a father to a child outside of marriage. He recently confirmed that he is the biological father of model Moon Gabi’s son, who is 16 years younger than him. Moon Gabi reportedly gave birth to the child in March of this year and is raising the child on her own. There are rumors suggesting that he has been messaging women privately on social media and that he has been living with someone for ten years without getting officially married. His agency has stated, “This is a personal matter, and we cannot confirm it.”
Jung Woo Sung was scheduled to attend the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards at KBS Hall in Yeouido today, but his attendance is now under reconsideration.
