Jung Woo Sung recently confirmed that he has a biological son with Moon Gabi, bringing renewed attention to his past interview statements.
Following the release of A Moment to Remember in November 2004, where he starred opposite actress Son Ye Jin, Jung Woo Sung gave an interview with Elle Korea.
During the interview, when asked by the reporter about his popularity among actresses, Jung Woo Sung replied, “I don’t know what kind of inner charm I exude. But I do think that’s something important. For women too, inner charm matters more than things like bust size or whether they have double eyelids. Sometimes, the allure that spills out with a single word is far more captivating—it’s more seductive than any fishnet stockings.”
When asked about his views on relationships in his twenties, he said, “I don’t think I took women very seriously back then. It wasn’t just about appearances; the overall vibe mattered too. That’s why, rather than looking at a woman’s inner self, I sometimes ended up spending the night with someone just because of the momentary attraction I felt.”
When asked whether he felt uncomfortable with such cheeky questions, Jung Woo Sung remarked, “It’s fun. I also have the desire to talk more freely with an open mind, but there are limits to what I can say, and that’s a bit frustrating. I think there will come a time when I can answer questions like, ‘Who did you sleep with?’ and say something like, ‘I slept with them, but it was a bit bland,’” drawing attention with his candid remarks.
Now, 20 years later, Jung Woo Sung’s bold statements from the past are being revisited following the revelation of his child with Moon Gabi. Netizens have reacted with comments such as, “His pursuit of an open mind continues,” and “He spoke his future into existence.”
