The upcoming film “Sister” (literal title) has unveiled its first look featuring Jung Ji So, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Cha Joo Young!
“Sister” delves into the hidden secrets and truths between two kidnappers, who abduct the daughter of a wealthy family, and the hostage they hold. The film stars Jung Ji So, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Cha Joo Young.
Jung Ji So plays Hae Ran, a character who resorts to drastic measures to pay for her sick sibling’s surgery. Known for her standout performances in “Parasite” and “The Glory,” her portrayal of Hae Ran is expected to capture the complex emotions of high-stakes situations.
Lee Soo Hyuk portrays Tae Su, a loan shark. Known for his versatility, Lee Soo Hyuk has starred in dramas such as “Queen Woo” and “Tomorrow” as well as the film “Pipeline.” He consistently brings his unique acting style to each role, and his portrayal of the ruthless Tae Su is expected to highlight his ability to tackle complex characters.
Cha Joo Young plays So Jin, the hostage of the two kidnappers. Known for her powerful performances in “The Glory” and “Again My Life,” Cha Joo Young fully embraces the role of So Jin, who faces the fear of death after being kidnapped. Her performance is expected to showcase another impressive transformation in her acting.
Directed by Jin Seong Moon, “Sister” has sparked high expectations for its suspenseful and immersive direction. The film also features veteran crew members, including cinematographer Byeon Bong Seon, known for “Hellbound,” and editor Han Mi Yeon, recognized for her work on “Concrete Utopia.” Their expertise is expected to enhance the film’s overall quality.
