Jung Hae In is making waves not just on screen but in the real estate market.

According to a News1 report, Jung purchased a villa in Cheongdam-dong for 4.4 billion won (about $3.3 million) in September 2018. The property’s value has since risen, potentially earning him a profit of at least 2.8 billion won (around $2.1 million).

The villa, known as Hyosung Villa, features a duplex layout with a ground floor area of 2,287 square feet and an upper level of 299 square feet, totaling 2,618 square feet. It is conveniently located just three minutes from Cheongdam Station on Line 7.

Despite being 40 years old, Hyosung Villa has significant investment potential. Reports indicate that a similar property in the area sold for 7 billion won (approximately $5.2 million) in 2022.

Kim Kyung Hyun, a Building Road Real Estate Agency representative, explained that the property, which spans 70 pyeong (2,490 square feet), provides a private living environment. He projected that it could sell for approximately 10 million won (around $7,500) per pyeong, potentially yielding a capital gain exceeding 2.8 billion won (about $2.1 million) over the next six years.

Meanwhile, Jung Hae In is currently featured on tvN’s show Love Next Door and is also preparing for the release of the film Veteran 2.

Veteran 2 is the sequel to the 2015 hit Veteran, which attracted 13 million viewers in Korea. The film will be released on the 13th.
