tvN’s upcoming drama “Love Next Door” has released new stills featuring Jung Hae In and Jung So Min!
“Love Next Door” is a romantic comedy that marks the reunion of director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun, who previously worked together on the hit drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.”
Jung So Min will star as Bae Seok Ryu, a woman who tries to reboot her troubled life after it goes awry. Jung Hae In will star as her mom’s friend’s son Choi Seung Hyo, whom she considers a dark chapter in her life.
Choi Seung Hyo is the ideal son, known for his looks, personality, and skills. As a successful young architect and firm leader, his peaceful life is disrupted when Bae Seok Ryu makes a dramatic return, causing turmoil. Meanwhile, Bae Seok Ryu, once a perfect daughter, faces an unraveling life. A successful global product manager, she suddenly decides to reboot her life after a significant setback.
Anticipation continues to grow with each new reveal as stills of Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu’s timeline are released. The images highlight their youth with Choi Seung Hyo and Baek Seok Ryu depicted in high school uniforms. In one photo, Choi Seung Hyo appears to scold Bae Seok Ryu, who is deep in thought at a local stationery store. This single shot offers a glimpse into their relationship and brings a smile to viewers.
Years later, after pursuing their dreams and navigating life’s challenges, the two reunite in their childhood neighborhood of Hyeryeong. They are shown sitting side by side on a jungle gym, surrounded by nostalgic memories. Their interaction—a playful moment with Choi Seung Hyo grabbing Bae Seok Ryu by the neck and Bae Seok Ryu responding with mild annoyance—adds a touch of realism to their enduring friendship.
The on-screen chemistry between Jung Hae In and Jung So Min is exciting fans of the drama. Jung Hae In praised Jung So Min, saying, “Jung So Min brings bright energy.
