tvN released photos from the show’s table read on July 10th, giving fans a sneak peek at the chemistry between the leads.

Love Next Door is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a woman who wants to change her life that she doesn’t like and her mother’s friend’s son who knows too well about her shameful childhood.

The table read was filled with energy, with director Yoo Je Won, writer Shin Ha Eun, and the cast, including Kim Ji Eun, Yoon Ji On, Park Ji Young, Jo Hyun Chul, Jang Young Nam, and Lee Seung Joon, all bringing their A-game.

Jung Hae In takes on the role of Choi Seung Hyo, a seemingly perfect guy with good looks, a successful career, and the personality to match. Jung So Min plays Bae Seok Ryu, a woman who just wants reset her life. Kim Ji Eun steps in as Jung Mo Eum, a paramedic who knows both Seok Ryu and Seung Hyo’s past a little too well. Yoon Ji On joins the cast as Kang Dan Ho, a social affairs reporter who moves in next door to Mo Eum and gets tangled up in her life.

Rounding out the cast are Park Ji Young and Jo Hyun Chul as Seok Ryu’s parents, and Jang Young Nam and Lee Seung Joon as Seung Hyo’s parents, with Lee Seung Joon playing a professor of emergency medicine.

The production team is excited about the premiere, describing the atmosphere as “cheerful and warm, like old friends and neighbors getting together.” They asked viewers to “look forward to their acting and synergy.”

Meanwhile, Love Next Door will premiere on tvN on July 17th at 9:20 PM KST.
