Korean cable network JTBC has revealed its heavyweight drama slate for the first half of 2025, assembling an impressive roster of acclaimed directors and A-list talent. The lineup, announced via JTBC Drama’s official YouTube channel, showcases upcoming projects from three of Korea’s most respected directors: Ahn Pan Seok, Kim Seok Yoon, and Shim Na Yeon.

The Art of Negotiation (literal title) marks the return of Ahn Pan Seok of Something in the Rain to the office drama genre, following a legendary M&A specialist and his negotiation team. Lee Je Hoon is set to captivate audiences as the silver-haired negotiation expert, joined by heavyweight performers Kim Dae Myung and Sung Dong Il, promising intense corporate warfare.

Kim Seok Yoon, known for hits The Light in Your Eyes and My Liberation Notes, brings More Beautiful Than Heaven (literal title), a transcendent romance following a protagonist who reunites with their loved one in heaven after death. The project has generated significant buzz by reuniting Kim with veteran actress Kim Hye Ja from The Light in Your Eyes and My Liberation Notes sensation Son Suk Ku.

The addition of Han Ji Min, who also starred in The Light in Your Eyes, to the ensemble further elevates anticipation for what promises to be an unconventional romantic pairing between Kim Hye Ja and Son Suk Ku.

Director Shim Na Yeon, who demonstrated her sophisticated touch with Beyond Evil and The Good Bad Mother, returns with Good Boy. The action-comedy follows elite athletes-turned-police officers fighting corruption with their badges instead of medals. The series features Park Bo Gum in a departure from his typically gentle roles, starring as a former boxing champion turned cop, alongside Kim So Hyun, Oh Jung Se, and more in what’s shaping up to be one of the season’s most anticipated offerings.
