Actors Jo Jung Suk, Lee Jung Eun, and Choi Yu Ri may be starring in a new film together!
On June 20, YTN reported that Jo Jung Suk, Lee Jung Eun, and Choi Yu Ri have been cast for the new film “My Daughter Who Turn Into a Zombie” (literal title).
In response to the report, a source from Jo Jung Suk’s agency Jam Entertainment shared, “[Jo Jung Suk] received an offer to star in the new film ‘My Daughter Who Turned Into a Zomebie’ and is currently reviewing the offer positively.”
Later that day, Lee Jung Eun’s agency ANIC ENT also shared, “It is true that [Lee Jung Eun] received an offer to star in ‘My Daughter Who Turned Into a Zombie.’ [The actress] is reviewing the offer positively.”
Based on a popular webtoon, “My Daughter Who Turned Into a Zombie” will be adapted into a comedy film. The original webtoon depicts the fatherly love and struggle of a father who takes refuge in his mother’s house in the countryside with his daughter, who is infected with the zombie virus.
Jo Jung Suk was reportedly offered to play the role of Lee Jung Hwan, a father who strives to protect his infected daughter, while Lee Jung Eun was reportedly offered to play Lee Jung Hwan’s mother Kim Bam Soon.
Choi Yu Ri, the child actress who played the young Kim Tae Ri in the film “Alienoid” and the young Na Moon Hee in the film “Picnic,” is reportedly starring as the infected daughter Lee Su Ah.
