The highly-anticipated mystery thriller drama “No Way Out : The Roulette” has unveiled new stills ahead of its premiere!
“No Way Out : The Roulette” depicts the fierce battle among individuals trapped in a high-stakes game with no way out. The series kicks off when a nationwide bounty of 20 billion won (approximately $14.4 million) is placed on the notorious criminal Kim Gook Ho (Yoo Jae Myung), who is about to be released from prison.
The newly released stills offer a glimpse into the eight complex characters caught in a high-stakes scenario.
First, Detective Baek Joong Sik (Jo Jin Woong) is seen grappling with the dilemma of protecting the unrepentant Kim Gook Ho (Yoo Jae Myung), an ex-convict who has become a nationwide target after his 13-year imprisonment. Their forced proximity and stark contrast intensify curiosity about the unfolding events between them.
Next, the stills showcase Kim Gook Ho’s lawyer Lee Sang Bong (Kim Moo Yeol), and Hosang City Mayor Ahn Myung Ja (Yum Jung Ah), both in critical moments of their careers. They contemplate using Kim Gook Ho as a means to escape their crises, hinting at possible alliances and conflicts that further pique interest.
Other characters include Seo Dong Ha (Sung Yoo Bin), Kim Gook Ho’s son and a prodigious violinist who struggles under the weight of his father’s notorious reputation. Additionally, Mr. Smile (Greg Han), a killer who has come to Korea to eliminate Kim Gook Ho, adds to the tension with his icy demeanor. Their presence heightens the suspense, leaving viewers wondering about their roles in this deadly game.
Lastly, Yoon Chang Jae (Lee Kwang Soo), a butcher eager to claim the financial reward, displays a greedy gaze, while Pastor Sung Joon Woo (Kim Sung Cheol) exudes a sinister aura, seemingly conveying his belief that “there are many things in this world faith alone can’t accomplish.”
